Founder
James Oaksun is the founder and president of Virtual Galt. As one of a small handful of gay financial advisors in America, he has been called the Financial FreudSM: a gay financial therapist.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Oaksun is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College, and received an MBA from Cornell University.
Mr. Oaksun is also a Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant.
Prior to founding Virtual Galt, Mr. Oaksun gained nearly two decades' invaluable experience in the financial and actuarial industry at Unum Group.
Mr. Oaksun is national chair of the LGBT activist group Outright Libertarians,and is a former elected national treasurer of the Libertarian Party.
Through Virtual Galt, he has decided to devote the rest of his career to helping you find freedom.
Mr. Oaksun lives in Saco, Maine.
